Arbitration Approach:
|
I give wide latitude and deference to the parties in arbitration to ensure that they are able to make all arguments and present all evidence they feel is necessary to fairly present their respective claim or defense. Notwithstanding the foregoing, I will endeavor to run hearings efficiently and ask clarifying questions to focus the parties on the issues that are most relevant and credible.

After 15 years of litigation and transactional practice both in law firms and within legal departments of Fortune 500 companies, I started Onward Mediation because I knew that there must be better way to resolve disputes, and I believe that means is mediation. Although trial is appropriate for some cases, most cases should and do resolve well before trial, many of them through mediation. Mediation offers numerous benefits as compared to trial, including confidentiality and some level of control over the outcome.
