Mediation Approach:
My mediation style is cooperative problem solving with lots of support. I provide information about the law and what a court might do, including running support calculations for the parties, that way they can negotiate their agreement in an informed manner. I believe strongly in mediation. I will work with clients with or without consulting counsel, as the clients decide. I am also able to bring in skilled neutrals--appraisers, accountants, tax advisors, etc. I have gotten hundreds of family law clients over the finish line efficiently and cost effectively over the past 25 years. I act as Settlement Master in San Francisco Superior in the Unified Family Court, and I am Judge Pro Tem in San Mateo for the One Day Divorce Program and I often volunteer on the Status Conference calendar on Friday afternoons.
