Training: Focused primarily on arbitration and neutral evaluation of attorney-fee client disputes and probate/conservatorship disputes. I have completed several State Bar and Local Bar fee arbitration training sessions and have served as independent counsel in many probate and conservatorship proceedings.

Experience: For many years I have served as judge pro tem in San Mateo County courts, from Small Claims matters, to hear Civil trials and motions in Municipal and Superior Courts. My practice has concentrated increasingly on probate, trust administration, estate planning and conservatorship proceedings during the past 15-16 years. These areas include probate disputes such as will contests, accounting objections, 9860 Petitions, trust administration disputes and conservatorship estate management issues covering a wide range of fiduciary duties. As an attorney for trustees and executors, I have utilized ADR procedures in a number of cases and am convinced of it value in probate matters.
I enjoy handling any of the ADR options presented through the Project, particularly mediation, neutral evaluation and settlement conference neutral. I have gained substantial expertise as a neutral, as a M.A.P. program participant, during the past five years.
