Mediation
Approach:

My style is facilitative. My focus is to work with the parties on understanding their needs, interests and legal positions. My goal is to work as effectively and strategically as possible, collaborating with parties in order to guide them through the dialogue necessary to bring resolution. Identifying alternatives, financial considerations, causes, contributors, and responsibilities assists parties in gaining improved insight, understanding and insures an agreement that fairly represents the interests of both parties. Finally, I seek to obtain workable and practical agreements.

When requested to do so by the parties, I have also successfully utilized an evaluative or directive mediation approach. In this approach I point out strengths and weaknesses of the parties' positions as well as their legal rights which can predict likely outcomes in court proceedings. My relevant subject matter expertise assists parties in resolving core legal issues so that prompt resolution can occur.

My goal is to remain open, focused and practical so as to respond effectively to the parties own style as well as the existing dynamics.
