Subject Matter:

Mediation Experience:	Since 1994, I have successfully mediated cases involving all aspects of construction claims, shareholder and partnership disputes, claims arising from the sale of real property, commission disputes, title insurance claims, estate and trust claims, and claims arising out of the sale of goods.
Mediation Training:	Basic mediation training from Appropriate Dispute Resolution Applications, Inc. (ADRA) and basic and advanced mediation training from Steven Rosenberg. Attended AAA advanced mediator workshop for construction lawyers. Attend frequent, periodic mediation workshops and training (MCLE).
Arbitration Experience:	I have conducted arbitrations as a single neutral in real estate, business and commercial disputes, and construction claims.

Mediation Approach:	Generally my approach is facilitative to start but can transition into evaluative as the needs of the session and the parties dictate. The approach used must be tailored to the needs of each mediation, the parties and their respective counsel.
Arbitration Approach:	I believe that arbitrations are essentially trials, and the parties are entitled to their day in court. My sessions are more relaxed, but I decide cases on the law and the evidence and not as compromises.
