Mediation Experience:	I have participated in hundreds of mediation over my 49 years of practice. I have been the mediator in approximately a half dozen cases referred either by other cases or my clients.
Mediation Training:	Ron Kelly Mediator Training - approximately 40 hours certificate course. Several seminars with AAA, State Bar RE Section and SMC Real Estate Law Section
Arbitration Experience:	I have been assigned dozens of cases over the years by both the American Arbitration Association and the San Mateo Superior Court. I have been the Chief Arbitrator in a 3 person arbitration panel at least twice.
Neutral Evaluation Background:	I have participated as an attorney for clients in neutral evaluation but not as a neutral. I have been appointed by the court twice as a referee in two partition actions.
Settlement Conference Experience:	I have participated in thousands of settlement conferences over my 49 years of law practice but not as the Settlement Judge.

Mediation Approach:	I use facilitative, evaluative and transformative approaches or any combination that works for the parties.
Arbitration Approach:	I take a relaxed judicial approach using legal formats but somewhat relaxing rules of evidence and hearsay objections.
Neutral Approach:	The ones I have been involved in as an attorney were mainly using offers of proof and written evidence and then giving evaluations.
Other Information:	I am very experienced in dealing with difficult clients and difficult cases such as disputes between siblings and family members.
