Green holds a J.D. from Hastings College of the Law, and an L.L.M. in International Law from Golden Gate University and is a former adjunct professor of Evidence. Green has more than 700 hours of specialized and advanced training in dispute resolution techniques, including programs at Pepperdine’s Strauss Institute and the AAA. She is admitted to practice in California, before the U.S. Supreme Court, and multiple Circuit and District Courts. She is a scholar of international law, and trained in crisis intervention, trauma, restorative justice, cross-border disputes, cross-cultural competence, and harm reduction.

A staunch advocate for ADR, Green serves on Alameda County Superior Court ADR Executive Committee, as a board member of the San Francisco Pretrial Diversion Project, and has served as board president of Community Boards. Green frequently writes and speaks on law and mediation at bar associations and law schools.
