Mediation Experience:
I have mediated approximately 75 cases. Of those mediations approximately 35 have dealt with an underlying personal injury claim. Many involved overlapping issues of insurance coverage and/or professional negligence and the use of complex, structured settlements. Seven of the personal injury cases dealt with product defects. The remaining 40 mediations have been in the employment and business areas, many involving wrongful termination claims with some form of discrimination. Five mediations involved issues of sexual harassment. My business mediations have dealt with claims relating to alleged stock fraud, breach of contract, real estate disputes, and/or damaged or defective goods. Several of these involved disputes between Silicon Valley companies concerning the sale of microprocessors and other related products.
Mediation Training:
Miscellaneous C.E.B Seminars.
Arbitration Experience:
As a member of the arbitration panels for Santa Clara and San Mateo County, I have averaged 12 to 15 non-binding arbitrations per year and for the same period approximately 5 to 6 binding arbitrations.
Neutral Evaluation Background:
